Bug description: Label visible on desktop for removable drives after showcase is acitvated/deactivated

Items involved: PIDL shortcut to DVD drive E:

Windows Version: Windows XP Pro SP1

DirectX version: 9.0c

System specs:Pentium 4 2.66ghz, 512mb of DDR RAM

Graphics card & drivers version: Ati Mobility Redeon 9000 with 64mb of RAM, Omega 2.6.71 based on Catalyst 5.9

Desklets running: PIDL, Notes, FTP

Steps to reproduce:

1. Create a PIDL shortcut

2. Set the PIDL shortcut to a removable drive.

3. Activate ShowCase

4. Deactivate ShowCase again.

5. The label displays on the desktop even though there is no disk in the drive and the icon is not visible

Issues:

- Can't Create Blank Theme

- Can't switch between Themes

- Closed desklets (Ah Weather, PCM's Weather) still appear in control panel & can be made visible by desklet properties

Note these are all old themes

System:

XP Sp2 P4 3.8 1Gb SDRAM

Standard Intel Graphics

Steps to Reproduce:

Desklets:

- drag desklets from widgetdock

- close desklets from context menu

- activate control panel (from tray icon)

- desklets still visible

Themes:

- try to switch themes or create a blank theme from within control panel or tray

- hangs, control panel not responding error & tray icon repeats animation

Edit: Temporary Solution. Close AveDesk. Delete Themes & not use those desklets

I believe it's AH Weather desklet causing the specific problem.

Bug description: version 2.0 uses a lot off CPU time (average about 30 %)

Bug Description: Ave 2 Crashes loading lucid weather

Bug Description: Unit Converter Desklet looses it's properties

Items involved: Unit Converter and widgetdock

System specs: Intel Celeron 2.80 Ghz, 448 mb RAM

Desklets running: Widgetdock (even alone)

Steps to reproduce: Load the desklet from the control panel or from the widgetdock

Special notes: The desklet gets rezised from 360 x 270 to 128 x 128 and loses or gets deleted the default settings like energy, volume and all the others to cero

Bug description: PidlShortcut doesn't display the sublabel information on removable drive

Items involved: PidlShortcut to iPod on letter J:

Windows Version: WinXP Pro SP2

DirectX version: 9.0c

System specs: P4 2.8GHz, 512MB DDR RAM

Graphics card & drivers version: nVidia GeForce 6600GT 128MB DDR, latest driver (91.31)

Desklets running: SysStats (vertical calendar & dockweather), Avetunes (DCTunes), PidlShortcuts

Steps to reproduce:

1.Create a PidlShortcut pointing to my iPod

2.set the sublabel to %3 Free

3.Sublabel displays " Free" on the first display, and on subsequent mounts.

Special notes: My hard drives, using the exact same setup have the correct sublabel info
