FlyakiteOSX will not install

I am trying to install Flyakite OSX v3.5 on my Windows XP SP2 laptop (2 GB RAM, 1920x1200 LCD, 60 GB HDD, Dell Inspiron 6000D).

The installation wizard starts, I agree to the terms etc, select all of the options available and then it STOPS. The Setup does not do anything at all, even when I leave it for hours. Task Manager does not say that it's not responding. I have tried installing this under Safe Mode... same thing.

HELP. Any suggestions from anyone?

I did a Google search and found this link, but even after trying out another download from a mirror site, I still get this same problem:

Hi. Wow, since I posted this yesterday, this post has had over 60 views and still not responses.

I guess this is not a common problem. I do however have an update! I'm typing this in for the benefit of others who may have similar problems. I unchecked the option to set a System Restore Point, and the installation then proceeded to almost the very end. I did a manual System Restore point creation. before the install. The install went quite well... It got stuck when loading some iTunes stuff. I had to force end the installation program after an hour of inactivity, and then just restarted the install program again (again, without the System Restore option).

This second time around, the install completed and after a reboot, there it was... my very own FlyakiteOSX.

I love it.

Yeah, the iTunes problem is a known one, just install Multiplugin 2.3 manually, that's what I did.
