I have made some changes to imail and updated the panther compose icon and also figured out a way to make it look nearly identical to the real osx mail.

to get it looking like I have it.
In imail goto view then layout and make sure the only thing checked is toolbar. and make sure show preview pane is checked. Oh and uncheck preview pane header too. I didn't do that in the screenshot but it looks even more like mail. then just size stuff to get it to look like that. Also you need zero pixel windows borders. My aquaxp mod shell32.dll will be zeropixel.

to
C:\WINDOWS\ServicePackFiles\i386_BAK

pack, i jus downloaded your imail mod for OE and i have a small problem. i will no work when i have windows blinds loaded. i ried o insall i and here is no change. so i unloaded windowblinds and ried i wihou he skin and i worked perfecly. does his mod conflic wih WB or somehing. i also ried o go ino WB and exclude OE from being skinned, bu ha doesn' work eiher. wha i all comes down o is ha whenever WB is running, he mod will no work. PS. i also have ha swee panher skin you did, so i don' wanna ge rid of WB. thanks.

execute the install script then tried launching OE but its still the same..
i even tried doing it manually but its still the default...

I had this problem too......all you have to do is disable windows XP file protection for the Mod to install itself correctly.
Sorry I'm in a rush, and I can't remember exactly how to do this now (I'm sure you can look it up on Google or something 
)....but don't forget to renable WFP after you mod!!
