Aqua-Soft ForumsHi guys. If you've used macosx before maybe you know this application. Quicksilver. Well i was surfing in FileForum and I found this app http://colibri.leetspeak.org/ which is like quicksilver. I just tried it and its really fast also. So i some of you that went from mac to windows like and missed Quicksilver, why dont you try this application. I really has some potential.

You're for sure never used Quicksilver cause You're totaly wrong, Quicksilver isnt just app launcher, its now with certain plugins (it have whole bunch of plugins) DO IT EVERYTHING WITH KEYSTROKE APP. Colibri is just simple launcher, and only for shortcucts that you have in start menu. And developement is dead.
There is another app for windows called Launchy http://launchy.net/ and it can index everything that you want, its also skinable, and very fast. And im using it.

i know its not just that...im just saying that this app has potential and its still growing.. its ok if you dont like it
btw i owned a powerbook and mac osx 10.2 Jaguar & 10.3 Panther and have used 10.4 before so dont just say that i dont know what im talking about ok..

I've been following the program closely, since Launchy is quite crappy for me, and Colibri 1.4 has just been released. It includes skins (officially, not with file replacement how I used to do) and the website is getting bigger. You know, forum, people posting skins and stuff...
I'm happy that Colibri isnt dead, but newest Launchy is way better for me, it's also fully skinable AND CAN INDEX EVERYTHING YOU WANT not just start menu like colibri, and its fast

Colibri can index everything too - only the feature has to be manually enabled at the moment, since is still under tests.
Anyway it's good to have more programs like these around at the same time - to cover different users needs
yeah just wait a little while and see how it goes
