Hello, I am new in this skinning thing. Cool as hell, I have to say the object bar as well as the portraitofakite-esque package make my laptop look SOO much cooler.
However, I DLed a a plugin to make the "genie's lamp" effect for the object bar. When I minimized a program, object bar crashed. I could get into the details, but I'm about to head out for lunch, but if there is anything that anybody knows (maybe its just a problem that is fixed easy?)

Object bar and the lamp effect are not meant for each other. You are confusing the "Lamp" effect available only to Rk Launcher.
And it's as simple as Flyakite OS X not portaitofakite-esque package xD
I didn't know there's a Genie Lamp for ObjectBar, Don't you mean RKLauncher?

P.S: If you have an nVidia card, the effect with RK Launcher might still be slow.

Stardock's Object Desktop contains WinFX that among other features (shadows, animations, etc.) has effects for windows when are minimazed. There are 3 plugins that make the Genie effect from which I prefer the Scarn's Jeany one. The others are Jeannie and Jenny.
The effect that comes with RK Launcher is more realistic, but difficult to run in NVidia cards.
