Avedesk and Task Switching -slow?

I'm going to post this here rather than the official bug report thread because I want a quick answer to this problem and I don't know if it's really a bug or not.

Problem: I need you guys to perform a quick experiment for me. Open up Explorer and Firefox and switch between them using the taskbar. Do this first with AveDesk on then quit it and try again.

On my system there are huge increases in the time it takes for the Firefox window to show up when Avedesk is OFF. It's done instantly. When I turn Avedesk on, it takes about a second to show up or minimize Firefox.

I need someone to confirm this please, it's really bugging me.

Are you using any OSX-like Taskswitch mod?

Perhaps the one with previews that comes with the Powertoys for XP?

No I don't use the taskswitch mod that comes with Powertoys or any other mod. Just going the old XP way. Don't have any other task-switching programs installed. I don't press ALT+TAB either, I select the windows from the taskbar using the mouse.

Since you don't have any problems, I suspect driver issues too. I have an ATI 9600 with 256MB Ram but I have failed to update my graphics driver for some time now. I tried installing newer ones but they did not work, the card was performing very badly, worse than the WinXP default drivers, drawing a window in a few seconds.

The newest driver that works is Catalyst 5.11. Installing newer ones leads to very poor behaviour. This one works ok, games run fine too.

Any suggestions? Please?
