Pidlshortcut is the best. Ever. And simplest.
Avetunes, various skins.
Vertical calendar on sysstats is really cool. Also most weather desklets are cool. Avescripter ones are somewhat faster and more stable for me, but that is just a personal observation.
Id like to nominate OSX Volume for Avescripter. Simple and useful.
