Hello folks, I tried googling this question but can't seem to find the appropriate answer..
What I'm trying to do is to remove the thumbnail view for folders containing picture(s) in Windows Explorer. Is there any way I can do this? :confused:

I suppose one method is to Right click > Properties > Customise > Choose picture
then choose a blank pic for each one.
May be a bit tedious if you're looking to change a lot of folders...
PS Doesn't really solve your prob but oh well...was worth saying.
Hi Zaft, thanks for the reply. I tried that but instead of changing into those normal folders, it showed the blank picture I created... :confused:

why not just select the folder view from thumbtail to icons from the views menu?
Go to Properties, Pick Customize. Change the folde type to Documents, rinse, repeat.
Or Try deleting the thumb.db in the folder.
@wind: Yup I can do that, or the list view, I'm just curious on how to change this in thumbnail view...
@vkeios: The folder type is already set to Documents (all folders), tried deleting the thumb.db inside the picture folder and the parent folder, still the same :confused:

Something that works for me: go to properties --> customize and click on the "change icon" icon, copy the address on the top, cancel out, then click on "choose picture" and paste the address in the file name. Not sure why but it works for me =]
