Honestly, people are going to make suggestions you have to get used to it. Believe me, I KNOW how it is. And I also know how to ignore and block out. But I still like hearing suggestions incase a good one's come along. I may not be a program developer, but I'm a skinner... and not just aqua. So I get alot of suggestions and requests all of the time. Sometimes I ablidge, sometimes I ignore. It's your call, but the board should not restrict suggestions

Seems the memory are not released nor reused after one use of iExpose. If you open ur task manager, you will see the memory usage of iExpose grows fast and never drops down (of course you need to click iExpose icon to use it to see the memory problem).
You are absolutely right, some linked lists are not freed etc...

I agree with binary, I always like to hear suggestions.
For example the drag and drop to a minimized app would be great, I have to take a look
For the better quality screenshots I don't know, I'll take a look if GDI+ can draw them better.
As for the black corners, this can be fixed I think.
0.2:
- drag and drop
- fix the memory leaks
- keep window shaping (rounded windows makes rounded screenshots)
- fix the "off screen issue", for some of you, this is hardcoded by now (a screenshot window cannot be created over 1024 pixels in width). So it's not a big deal
- Ability to change the font (size, bold, etc...), rect color, rect blending etc...
- change magnification size
- a dialog to configure all this
In the mean time, I hope you enjoy it
it takes a lot of time when the app make screenshots of each windows (for example 30 opened windows). is it possible to get it faster? i wouldn't recommend the continous screenshot capturing because it's useless to have all shots in memory if you switch with iE not too often. do you have any idea?
other suggestion is about iE can display ~16 opened windows on my screen - it would be great to scroll there if more window is opened.
if there will be settings menu it would be great to reach the settings from elsewhere too because i think less people would use systray icon.
an idea for users: if you use a4tech mouse use its software where you can assign (for exampe) F9 to your middle button and you can use iExpose with mouse without clicking the systemtray icon.

2 bugs :
- memory leaks

found why for this one : forgot to put exclusion for YZdock in .ini file
sen: RabidVWM for litestep has an option to take continious screenshot of the windows of the current selected desktop but it's a cpu problem not memory. But you can't have continuous screenshots anyway in a program like iexpose because you can't screenshot minimized applications in XP or below. If you tried you'd just get a black box with a minimized app bar in it. That's not going to be fixed until longhorn with it's 3d interface. Except.. in that you would not need to take snapshot and hide window just shrink it in 3d... heh
Anyway I see good potential in this. It'd be more usefull to me though if it had option or function to snapshot windows when you minimize them as well. As well as the function it has now.
Other less important suggestions:
Settable size for the thumbnails so people can adjust to their resolution and or preference.
If at all possible I'd also like drop shadows around the mini windows.

Visual representations of open apps versus text is one reason.
Taskbar grouping is another.
Still another is that if you have 25 or more windows open, it becomes a pain hovering your mouse over each taskbar item to get a tooltip.

iExposé is very useful - haven't you noticed yet? it's not so easy to find the window you're searching for if you have a lot of opened applications.
taskbar in Windows shows only the first few letters of titlebars (imho Alt+Tab switcher is better).

Another thing I thought of is it's kind of a pain to toggle between groups of windows as it is. I noticed if you have some iconified already and open more F9 doesn't do anything, how about if it's like that have the normal windows iconify and the iconified ones deiconify thus toggling between them.
This way you can have 2 groups of windows which you can toggle between. I'd love such a feature.
If you put my other suggestion of snapshotting when you minimize regular it'd become part of either group.

this is great!! To add to the list of suggestions, I would love to see the screenshots have an alpha blended drop-shadow. I think that would give it a very professional look.

Truly and utterly AMAZING! :woot: :woot:! Im am totally amazed at how you were able to do this! I believe that if development keeps up, iExpose will become as nice and common place as the dock programs have! I see a this as not only a nice flashy effect, but an excellent Interface and Tool for everyday use. I in fact use the docks more for productivity than looks! I believe that iExpose could become this way too!
