i'm not sure i understand. are you saying that the 'lest side (menu)' (which is called the 'common tasks area') is not getting skinned? or it's not showing up at all?

If you want to remove the sidebar, go to Folder Options and select "Use Windows Classic Folders."

That will remove the sidebar.

(hpe that's what youare asking too xD)

that area gets its look from a file called shellstyle.dll. what theme are you using? not every theme has a shellstyle...

Nexplorer's the best clone out there, but if you want to keep going on my suggestion (Findexer), keep reading...

It's on these forums; Findexer. It takes the role of the icons on the left of the finder. The search bar can be done with Styler (or so I've heard) & coloumns view of the Finder can't be replicated through explorer. Also, you can use a Per-Application setting for WindowBlinds to give it that brushed look.

Wish you well!
