Removable Media?

Hey,

Not sure if this is a request coz it might already exist (even though I've searched), but is there a way of making removable drives pop up in the dock? That'd be really useful.

I don't think it can be done with anything currently in existence...you could probably try writing a docklet that queries the system to see if there are any new drives (perhaps check the System Logs?) and then add an icon for it. I suppose the theory is kind of the same as for the Recycle Bin docklet, where you have to continually check to see if it's gotten larger.

Of course I'm not 100% sure I know what I'm talking about .
