Reverting to default icons

I have installed FlyakiteOSX. After a few hours I decided to use System Restore to uninstall it. Everything seems fine except for the icons. They're still the same.

From nightcrawler1089 : http://www.aqua-soft.org/board/showthread.php?t=37119

Go to the Task Manager, and end explorer.exe. Then, go to File-->New Task-->cmd.exe

Enter in

regsvr32.exe shell32.dll /u

And then enter in

regsvr32.exe shell32.dll

This will un-register and then re-register it. When was the last time you reformatted your computer?

-NC

I have done this and it's still the same.

Glad you found your answer... I'm going to move this anyways to System File Modifications, as shell32.dll is a system file. :)

Humh. Do you still have the uninstaller abot? try runing that. Also, I think it backs everything up tio .bak files.
