Aqua-Soft ForumsI installed Objectdock today, all set up and working, but, when I move my mouse to the right side of the dock the magnification is very sluggish and juddering but on the left side its smooth as butter! Any ideas why?

Hmm, I have no idea why that's happening. Why don't you try switching over to RK Launcher and see if it happens with that dock?
If your hearts set on OD then you might have better luck at the Wincustomize forums http://forums.wincustomize.com/?forumid=59. 
Most of us here are more apt to be RK fans.
Maybe, just maybe, the icons on the right side are of higher resolution (hence larger files) and they take longer to magnify?
But I just switched to RK.. I suggest you do the same.
