iTunes floating window

hi there,

ive checked all stuff for yahoo widgets and avetunes, but i didnt like the floating windows. somehow they are not very elegant. i don't know if somebody of you knows GimmeSomeTune 1.6 on Mac OS-X but i like that style.

well, iTunes COM for Windows SDK is out and the .net 2.0 Framework supports bordlerss irregularly shaped windows link .

before i start playing with it i thought id ask here if anyone has seen such a simple floating window for windows xp with album cover art that comes to front when track changed and fades out smooth as stand alone app, maybe even with task bar controls like Synergy on Mac OS-X.

All I can recommend are some of the widgets for AveDesk. You're bound to find something you like for that program. It's light too.

As for an individual app, I have no clue.

avedesk was always too buggy for me. got flyakite with entbloess and other stuff. works all nice, but when avedesk joins in it all gets messed up. i dont know if that software is so buggy or if its some specific problem with my system but i couldnt get it properly working on other pcs as well. like on start-up avedesk loads but never shows desklets or steals focus of other apps continously.

i just thought some nice stand alone app might be best. guess i have to code it on myself than or continue searching.
