Aqua-Soft ForumsFor some reason, whenever I use sysstats, no icons show up, i've tried to reinstall it, but it hasn't worked. I use objectdock v1.2 that came with flyakite osx. Please help!!!
Sysstats problem

Make sure you completely uninstall the old version and do a reboot (just to be sure) first.
Exactly how did you install SysStats?
Do you mean no SysStats icons show, or none at all?
If its just no SS icons, add a SS docklet to the dock then right click>configure>select a config from the config folder. It should load the image that came with it.

You should unzip it to the ObjectDock folder. There are some DLLs that need to go into the OD folder. Make sure you unzip the paths as well.
I recommend unloading OD first, as well then start it up again after you've unzipped it.
I've tried that, and it still doesn't work either...
Unzip the folder directly into the OD folder.. if you're not sure, look in the zip for the two .dll's and put them in the root OD folder, then put each docklet into the docklet folder.

OK, first make sure the following are up to date: MS Scripting Host and MSXML. Both are available from the MS Support site.
Next, register the SysStats DLLs manually. In a CMD window from the installed ObjectDock folder (eg C:Program FilesStardockObjectDock) type:
regsvr32 SysStatsCOM.dll and
regsvr32 dockletssystatssystats.dll
I recommend doing the above with OD unloaded, then load it again afterwards.

OK, that's the right thing to do to add a docklet. If you have SysStats installed right, after adding the docklet you should have a blue '?' symbol in the dock which you right-click to load the config.
Which docklet are you loading?
So if SysStats is installed correctly you should have SysStatsCOM.dll in the 'ObjectDock' folder. Under 'ObjectDock' you should also have a 'Docklets' folder which has a 'SysStats' folder under it containing 'SysStas.dll' plus the 'Scripts', 'Configs', 'Images' etc folders.
Does this match yours?
Sounds like you need to update the Windows MSXML engine - I'm pretty sure the newer versions of SysStats rely on that.
Go to support.microsoft.com & do a search on MSXML, that should turn it up. While you're there you should also make sure the Windows Script Host (WSH) is up to date also since many docklets use scripting.

You get the blue '?' when you add a SysStats item, right? If not then you probably still don't have SysStats installed correctly...
Did you update OD ? Is it the free or paid (plus) version (not that it makes much difference AFAIK)?
I'm out of ideas otherwise... sorry. It's just always worked for me.
I updated OD, it's the free version, and i do get the blue question mark.

How many other docklets have you tried loading? Have you downloaded the SysStats2.5 docklet pack and tried a simple config like, say, the iCal docklet?
Just thinking that the World Clock (if it's Judge's one) is quite a complex docklet to test if your SysStats is working. Don't get me wrong, it works (I'm running two of them!) but it's one of the more complex ones and it's probably best to test with simple docklets first.
