Hey, I submited these screenshots for the fake leopard screenshot contest over
at macthemes, but unfortunatly I didn't win. Anyway, I thought you might have
fun looking at them, or maybe it will serve as inspiration to some of you... have fun.

Wow, never even knew about this compitition. A lot of those screenies look believable!
I like I like.
I like them except for the menu bar. I don't like the multi-colors. But I like integrating style into the rest of the OS. Even though I really don't care for it, but it is consistency. *sigh*
I also attempted to get into this competition. But, I got bored of Photoshopping my desktop, so I dropped out.

They're PhotoShoped images to do a "what would Leopard look like?". Doing a mock-up of Leopard for a contest.
if you ask me these are just photoshops.
They're actual Macs. We just take screenshots of OS X 10.4 and try to modify it to look like a possible 10.5. That's all.
I don't think you would succeed very well with an emulated Windows shot.

The transparency is distasteful in my book.
I agree Paralex, Tranperancy just ... umm.. you know... sometimes looks cool. But practically it's annoying as hell. It could be the one reason why I hate Vista Interface... Glass.. duh !! Whatever !
i wouldnt go as far and say annoying but the novelity wears off after awhile, still it would be cool if its like an extra option in the new leopard, give you the choice between transperancy and their regular version.
That Susumu SS doesn't look that great, I must say, the winner's was pretty damn good, as was yours.

@ShadyApple: Well most of the people took screenshots of Mac OS X and modified them but I made my screenshots completely from scratch in photoshop 
I think some of the fonts are a little bit off though....
barely noticeable hobbes anybody got a ss of who won the contest?

Why would the IP address be on the login screen?
Nice work Hobbes, the unified windows look great, especially without the borders and those extra drop down spotlight menus in finder look like a great idea.
I've got to say I dont like the menu bar up the top though personally, the colours are a little perky? vista like? off coloured...and personally I prefer the dock any day to the OS9/windows style applications menu... perhaps an option for either would be good.
but otherwise it looks great.... PS- that wallpaper, did you make it yourself? Do you still have it? If so I would like it! 
(I'm bored of the other official apple ones)
nice work... The other entries must have been impressive to beat that ...
