Aqua-Soft ForumsI just plugged in the ipod into my pc and it is in not shown in my pc anywhere. It is plugged in, but it is not charging. I also cannot update my ipod. Please help. It worked before.

Restart? That's what I do when that happens, and most of the time it works after.
the iPod software is running? try ctrl+alt+del and see if ipodservice.exe is listed on processes list. if not, install it from the cd.
I assume you have restarted your computer?
Is it recognised in explorer?
Have you enabled disk use? It will automatically disconnect if disk use is disabled.
Try a different usb port- if you are pluging in on a Hub try a port on the back of the computer.
You could also try updating the iPod firmware.
