I download the zip file from http://avedesk.aqua-soft.org/download.html and I clicked avedesk.exe but then it just crashes and an error appears saying that and error occured so the program will close automatically. I've tried click register.bat and then click avedesk.exe but no help. I've restarted my computer and tried but nothing.
What can I do?
Could you be anymore vague? Seriously. Sorry for being snippy but, saying an error occured isn't very helpful.
This has been asked, answered, pondered, etc etc a number of times.
I'm going to assume you've done the following.
1. You're running a compatable OS.
2. Read Ave's readme.txt
3. Read through the stickied threads at the top of this forum.
4. You have all necessary updates. ie. WSH, etc
5. Verified Your download wasn't corrupted.
If you've done the following & still haven't found an answer then please post back here & I'd be glad to help.

Sorry. My computer is in Japanese so I have to translate everything. Anyways I run Windows XP and I've read the readme.txt and I'm sure I have all of the updated things because I didn't mention this before but, I was able to download AveDesk a few days ago. Then, I deleted it(uninstalled it) for no reason and I wanted to download it again except suddenly it won't let me.

Question: you meant install or download?
I don't think this is the answer but, clear out your cache then try install again.
C:Documents and SettingsUsernameApplication DataAveDesk
C:Documents and SettingsUsernameApplication DataLocalSettings (xml cache is in here)
Check your zip file. You should have AVE011001.DLL which is the Japanese Language File.
Edit: You have admin privileges right?
