I don't know if this is possible, but wouldn't it be awesome if someone could get Windows Explorer to use tabs? It would cut back on how many times you need to go back/forward to do things, such as moving documents. It would be much simpler than having many windows open, ect.
Tabbed browsing in Windows Explorer?
It is possible, except the only ones that I know do it are basically explorer clones
It will be in Vista after Leopard is released.
But of course, because Apple is the only innovator in the field... : Do we need another history lesson about Apple and Xerox?

No, we're such Apple lovers that we completely ignore that part of the story.

Yep. Vista is one big ripoff of the brushed metal look. I see it everywhere O_O

Lolz... too true... and Xerox was a long time ago, and Apple has brought to the table many of its own GUI innovations since (to my limited knowledge, so dont argue it)
Tabs in windows explorer are a great idea...I had this idea once before
im sure somebody could probably create an explorer bar mod or something... we just need a good developer, like the one who made "findexer" (sorry I forgot your name, but its brilliant)...
.... but till then its explorer clones or the odd finder clone...
I like tabs. More than that I love the idea of tabs in Windows Explorer. I mean, after i found out what da hell is a tab i was wondering if this could be possible. I ask some guys about that and they say it's not possible (of course they explained to me why, but is just giberish to me).
Anywho, with tabs (and all the extensions I have) I could easily call Windows Explorer a real file manager.
Peace out!
