Them half life 2 people are working on a first person puzzle game called portals. basically u have a gun that can create a portal. think of it as hole A takes you to hole B. So a lot of strategy gos into it.
very cool idea.
but the game itself looks amazing, i would have to say more amazing than hl2 ep 1. it has some kind of blur effect. really next gen.

Valve continues to impress. Along with Team Fortress 2 (!), it looks to be a good year for Half-Life fans

I remember using a very similar teleport gun mod back in the Quake 1 days. However with it you could not see through the portal. First big game to really do that was Unreal 1.
