whenever i clicked a folder, a new window always appear. Although i have check the box " Always use the same window" , it still opens a new window when i click on a folder.
i did remember that i disturb the File Folder Advance Settings , how can i overcome this problem?

go into folder options,in the file types tab,scroll down to folder & click advanced button.Make sure open is set to default instead of explore. worked for me

i dunno, i think i doubleclicked the uninstall.reg file again, unchecked the finderbar view from explorer and rebooted..
AthrunZala32, you might try unchecking open in same window then log off or reboot. once you are back up go in and check open in same window and log off or reboot. that has worked for me.
sometimes is better if there is no default action and the system is allowed to choose the best: open regedit, go to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOTFoldershell and empty the default string value
( in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOTDirectoryshell the value says "none" - you can try the same in Folder if it still doesn't work )

I've had the exact same problem. Have never bother to fix it, but this post made me try some of the suggestions. None of them worked, so i googled and came up with this page:

Check the #20 post, that solution worked for me.
Or, in registry, (HKCR is HKey Classes Root), HKCRDirectoryshell(default) should always be "none" and HKCRFoldershell(default) should always be "value not set"

But i tried your solution, and it didnt work. But the other one did. Dont really know why, maybe it has something to do with setting the value to "value not set" instead of "none".
Either way, now people can try both!
