Hi!
I just want to know what is the best tool to customize Windows (Taskbar, Icons)? WindowBlinds, Style XP?....
It's been a long time since I was into "customization" so that's why I'm asking.

My vote is Windowblinds because it skins everything, doesn't hack the system, and I've been using it for over 2 years and am very pleased with it.
As far as I know, stylexp can't have left sided glyphs, alpha-blending, per pixel, transparency (can it?) and so on.
Does Window Blinds change also the icons?
How can I have (if not with WindowBlinds), for instance, the big hard drive icon with under it the % of used space (like some people have here)?
Use Avedesk 1.3. Nice and Neat. You can download it at osx-e.com ![]()
Yes I use Avedesk as well for my desktop icons, but I use IconPackager to change my system icons.
Thank you again!
I've downloaded Avedesk 1.3. Now, is it possible to have the thing I asked earlier (the percentage of space used) with the default desklets or do I need to download others desklets?
EDIT: I tried the thing with the %1, %0, .... in the Properties/Label Format of the Desklet but it doesn't seem to work.
Check this out. Spiffy Avedesk tutorial. Should help you along. ![]()

Haha, don't I have to close these out of general principle? You know, tell you to search and all that? ![]()
AveDesk, Hacked UxTheme, RK Launcher, ResHack your icons. If you feel like being dangerous, go with Flyakite--a number of people have had problems both installing and uninstalling it, so I'd be weary.
