nah. from the front view, that top circle in the middle is the dvd. most be a top-loader...

the bit where it joins the arm looks big, bulky and silly (and unapple like)... and that mouse looks like an ugly windows mouse on steroids, it doesnt really reflect apple's simple design.
that said I like the idea of the clear glass screen (with no backing) that would be extremely cool...
I like the actual stem of the monitor and how it curves round at the bottom, but the keyboard is a little wack. the speakers would be cool if they were bigger...

Do you remember the iMac that swivelled like a lampshade? I think it looks very similarly like that, which would make it very Apple-like.

I think you're wrong. Apple constantly innovates their products. I highly doubt that this is something they won't do. The guy who made this mock-up could be a really good Apple hardware engineer.

Holy I thought that the screen was like one of those laser screens. You know, like in the futuristic movies where the screen is there but you can put your hand through them?

looking at that again, i have to agree with levi about the mouse. it's damn fugly.

Don't forget to read this stuff under the image too, it helps explain a lot, and how you can set the transparency of the LCD screen.
