Switcher says WHAAAaa?!?!?

Many of you have noticed I haven't been around in quite some time.

There's a reason for that--

4 months ago, I sold my last PC. Yes, that's right. Duckie sold his PC. Why, you ask?

I am now the owner of the following:

G4 1ghz

iBook 700mhz

Mac Mini Intel

I could go on about all the accessories i also have, now, but that would only make you jealous.

Needless to say, alot of changes are coming for therealduckie.net. A new blog/v-blog, video upload section, completely re-hashed and re-worked community engine, and...a complete and utter makeover. (ala 2.0 only not so stuck up).

So you illustrious modder/skinner/tweaker/whatever/jerk is now a Mac owner, through and through. No more PC's---errr...well...

I do have Windows Media Center on my Intel Mac Mini, but it's only for gaming and troubleshooting. but shhhh!

oh, and Screw Vista!! it blows and it will never ever work right and you are all suckers for liking it...hahaha! I saw the new 'Explorer'. What a piece of garbage. Could they possibly pack more garbage into a small area? I got a headache just looking at it.

I do miss the community in many ways, but owning REAL Mac's is proof---you can't polish a turd. (though Flyakite does an awesome job)

Anyway, this isn't a farewell, only 'until next time'

The community has gone far, with WB we are getting per pixel skinning, now Miranda has a 1:1 iChat template only requiring IE 7 etc etc, yadayada. In fact I am pretty happy with my set up at the momento, 'course it's not going to be like the real thing, but I got Windows just the way I want it at the moment.

Don't get me wrong. N()()b's were the bread and butter in the early days. The propelled this little site to stardom back when i was Admin here.

Nowadays, they have little to no respect for the community pioneers. It's like 'Just give me the skin and shut up about where it came from, buddy'.

The mini blows the G4 out of the water. That's partly because i bought 2gb's of memory for it.

It's flies. The comparison to before with the stock 512mb is unbelievable. Back then, it was similar to the 1ghz G4 in usability and speed.
