DC transmission problem (I'v just bought a DC)

Hello!

I just bought a DC yesterday,just a little question,hope someone can answer me,thanks a lot!

I used the Image Capture to to transmit the photo file to my disk,I don't know if that was right. again,when I completed the transmission how to eject the DC from my mac(just like the MP3 player,before pull out the USB,you need eject the disk first )? And.. dosen't it show the icon on desktop?? My DV will show its disk icon on the desktop anyway..

help me please!:confused:

ps:I don't use the iPhoto(because I didn't install it at starting-_-|||)though I know it can do this well..

hi, i dont understand your english...

when you plug in a camera via usb, it should show as a removable drive on your desktop. opening it will reveal folder structure like DCIMDC1230123.jpg

just drag the pictures to your pictures folder.

it didn't show the removable drive icon on my desktop. sorry for my english..but I believe you can understand what I mean..

Check settings of your camera.... there should be setting for Transfer or Connection mode.

If it's set to PTP change it to USB MASS STORAGE !!

That should get you the Removable drive icon on your dekstop.
