you have to have the entire font?, why not just make a pen tool tracing. Im sure thats what the shirt designer did.

I did a quick search for dilla and found this:

Maybe you could buy one? Or if you still want to do one yourself, this would be a better image use the pen tool on.

As for the font, it looks similar to Pricedown.

It looks like a graffti font, try making a font (from scratch) by using various bold and thick markers. Try to make the letters that you want closely resemble those that are on the graphic. That should do it, it should be lots of fun! Good Luck!
