I cant leave or get into my startup screen

i was trying to get rid of some program called spyaxe (rouge spy-ware program) and it called for me to go into safe mode and delete it, so i go to start, click run, type msconfig and change it so i go stright to safe mode, i restart and the blue mac osx type screen with my mouse courser but i wait for 10 minutes and thats it, it wont let me sign in to my desktop, i cant leave safe mode to go into normal mode and i cant go into safe mode to turn it off,

what do i do?

im screwed i need that comp, im useing my ibook but i need that rig

also the mac osx screensaver still comes up after a couple of minutes

is there a way to turn safe mode off manualy? during the whole windows xp screen??

I'm not sure changing it in the msconfig was a good idea...

you could have just pushed F8 while it was rebooting.

I have no idea how you could change it now.

if your running flyakiteosx... in safemode at the macosx login screen ctrl+alt+del twice and the classic login style should come up..

shoudn't you be able to use f8/ctrl at the bootup to select boot windows normally?

optionally as a dirty trick, you could restart the computer during the bootup logo, and it should come up with a screen saying windows did not boot normally, etc etc and check for options there, though i don't think it will be of much help
