ummm...i can't find how to do that. like, i've got tugzip installed and they have alternate icons for each filetype, but i can't find where to change it (build 5384). (btw, there is no more 'file types' in folder options like in xp).
so, anyone know?

have you tried microangelo on display? dunno if it would work but it's wortha try...
Use Iphile I just tryed it and it works.
just so i'm/we're clear: what i'm talking about is not changing individual icons. i'm talking about like in xp, you go to control panel|folder options|file types and highlight, oh...jpg, for example. from there, you can change the default icon for all jpg's, savvy?

..but Iphile is 290k freeware and really easy to use.
