Well, how is it encrypted? We don't have any Community Application to do this, so I //moved your thread (I assume you're using Windows).

ok... the thing is that is a *.rar file and when I try to exctract the content a window comes up and aske me the password to unlock the encrypted file, but I don't now de key and I have no longer contact with the person ho provided me with the file

Most Rar Password crackers use 'Brute Force' to try and recover the password. It seldom works. Unless the password is a proper word, You have access to a vast dictionary list and are willing to sit and watch your proccessor be consumed for lengthy amounts of time, There is little you can do. But hey try 'recover Rar password' in Google and you'll get a ton of hits (Mostly Shareware apps)-

or just add a comment to the bittorrent link and see if anyone replies... other than that you can try combinations of the information provided such as "uploaded by" or whoever ripped it...
Isn't this..maybe/possibly/most likely/surely prohibited to talk about in A-S?
i dunno...seems like a kind of grey area. he's not saying, 'i downloaded a stolen version of photoshop but i need the pw.' he's looking for general info on recovering a lost rar pw, right? hell, maybe it's pr0n.
