how come firefox wont minmize to the dock

what do u mean, that don't wanna minimize to the, dock or that u dont want it? about the 1st go to settings and remove the check on the "minimize to dock" and 2nd-if u dont want only the FF not to minimize to the dock-there is 1 bar called exeptions (never show in dock), just see it and u will understand what i mean

The older betas don't allow this. Make sure you're using the latest nightly--I believe it's pinned in this forum.
