Panther v1.3

Here's my Phanter Port for all the aqua lovers :smile:

Update:

- I changed the contro panel color

- Added the plastic buttons version

Update 2:

- Fixed the problem with some font colors

- Vertical tasbar works now

- I removed the plastic buttons version but I included the buttons in the zip

Update 3:

- I fixed shellstyle scrollbars

PS Why`re u not posting on ur site anymore? devianart loads sooo slow on my poor modem connection and it doesn`t support dload managers (like get right which i`m using)

by the way THANKS for a great skin, i dload all of them although i still use brushed co (version 1 (Y) )

Simply superb work KoL. You always get me to switch themes :woot:! The graphite substyle is so slick, it makes an amateur like me feel like a professional. Start panel is genious and you managed to add the new buttons. Outstanding man, thanks again ..

just allow me a little question: any chance to see the plain buttons in futher theme release, just like iTunes have! will there be a following theme or is that final and finito?

even when it´s not 100% osx panther with thought buttons, but just and option to choose of.

and what fall to my eye is the fact, that the colors of the three little balls (yellow, green and red) is a little bit danker in osx. did u know about the fact?

That is Kol's style.

@Kol: Kol, I modded your panther theme, so that:

-The buttons are as Tom describes

-The Titlebar font is the same as panther.

-The dialog button font is the same as panther.

-The dialog button colour is the same as panther. (the colour you use, on a side by side comparision, is not as turquoise as the real panther. To see a comparison shot see the "S3D panther v101" thread, and compare the colour to your buttons.

Apart from these 4 issues, I have not touched anything else.

It now looks remarkably like panther. This was my dream from the beginning, to create a 1:1 copy (as near as can be).

If you want, I can release this or I can send you this theme, so you can see for yourself, and perhaps release it yourself.

I just want there to be a 1:1 copy of panther out there.

If you give me permission I will release 4 sets of bordered/unbordered/user pic no user pic.

I must really be getting even dumber by the moment, but I can't for the life of me get the theme installed. Can anyone help refresh my memory?? I tried jus double clicking on the msstyle file, but it won't change or give me the option in the display properties.

I really hope someone can help the poor aging dumbass !!!!

Can you upload your mods? They sound like a great addition to an already-great theme.

It is essentially kol's theme, but with different fonts and buttons,.. I can't just release it, without kol having seen it.

There's also a few little things that still need to be done, like the min/max/close buttons aren't 1:1 with panther yet.

Exceptional work from the Visual Style masta once again! LOL, Ive actually trid hopping away from your themes KoL to something new, but you always have such a big library and every growing one of great new VS's that I end up always using a KoL theme! lol, you rock man!

@linuxdude: Three Drives is right, if a theme didnt get proper permissions I honestly wouldnt want it anyways, its not right

@Three Drives: your fixes look excellent and I hope that KoL approves the realese of your tweaks to improve on an already perfected skin.!
