Composing Music On The PC

Hey everybody, how's it going?

I am looking for a program (something professional and reliable) that will allow me to compose music on my computer for different instruments. I worked on programs like Guitar Pro and Sybelius before, but the results weren't satisfying, I need something that's more profressional with tons of features, that also supports a wide variety of instruments and effects.

I just installed FL - looks good, but it seems that it's more designed for electronic compostitions and so (rap, hip-hop, techno etc). I need something with a score sheet that will allow me to write my own notes. Thanks for the share though

Dive into Cubase (http://www.steinberg.net/) - it's kinda complicated but has all features that you will ever dream of.
