How do I go about modding an AveTunes skin?

I have a skin I use for AveDesk/AveTunes that'd I'd like to do some real minor tweaking. It has a "glass/reflrection" overlay on the cover art that I'd like to remove. I found the .PNG file for it. I just don't know how to go about removing it. Also it has buttons [pause, play, next/previous track] and the song info on the right side of the album art that I would like to move to the left side. Any help on how to do this would be grealy appreciated. Anyone who would be willing to do this would also be appreciated.
