Can't display the icon correctly(After updated the VLC media player)

Hi all !

There's something strange after I updated the VLC(vlc-0.8.5).

I just changed the default application(AVI files) to VLC. As soon as I changed it,the icons(which is the avi files)changed to a different icon like the"unknow document". But when I change it for one file,not the all files, the icon works well.

I don't know why~ can someone tell me hwo to solve this ? Great thanks!

I've seen this quite often with VLC. It's a problem with the 'avi.icns' which is located within VLC's resource folder. I simply replaced the default icons with Susumu's VLC replacement icon set which restored the icon albeit much better looking.

Thank you R0GUE ! But I think this is not the icon's problem,I'v replaced the 'avi.icns' , but it still nothing changed.

It Only works on 'one file',if change the VLC for a default application to open a type of files,it still display as the "unkown document"icon. Don't you have the same problem?
