multi-plugin has royally messed up my web browser.

Honestly, I have no idea how it's possible thet the multi-plugin would mess up my browser. But after I installed, Firefox and Opera sctarted crshing. I can open them up, but they will simply crash about 20 seconds later. Interet Explorer is still working.

When I went to install the multi-plugin, it said I neede a newer version of iTunes, which I got, and then installed the plugin. At first, the plugin worked nicely. Then I started my browser and notice htis problem. After rebooting the PC I noticed that all skins for iTubes except the default original were showing purple around the corners and some vertical edges. I uninstalled iTunes in an attempt to get rid of the browser problem. I re-installed iTunes and uninstalled again. I downloaded and installed the newest version of firefox, but that did not fix anything. If anyone can help mw out of this jam I would really appreciate it.

Well, technically I tired to uninstall multi-plugin first. There wasn't an entry for it in the uninstall programs part of the control panel, because it's just a plug-in, so I removed its dll file and one other file from the iTunes directory. Then when I restarted iTunes it said that had been a required file. rather than restoring it I just uninstalled iTunes at that point..

Do you think maybe there's something I should have looked of rin the registry??

I have peeked at the registry and didn't really see anything related, though I'm not a registry expert.

Um, you should have ran the muti-plugin installer again it would have turned into an uninstaller then you could have uninstalled mutiplugin the right way instead of just deleting some of the files in the iTunes folder..

Trent Pivot, I reinstalled itunes and the plugin, then uninstalled the plugin, and it did not help, but heanks for the reply nonetheless. I'm suspecting a virus or some sort of malware, maybe a browser hijacker that actually shuts it down. Anyway I'm doing some virus/malware checks now.

Believe it or not, i think that multi-plugin somehow messed with my Firefox install as well. Once I installed multi-plugin, pages in firefox weren't rendering correctly and pages looked all messed up. I had to do a system restore to get everything back to normal.
