Creating this interesting new widget style (denim)

Hey guys,

I just downloaded a widget, an rss reader for a german ipod news service.

This new style looks really great, I'd like to transform the iShout skin for trillian into this new style.

Can anyone tell me which PS tricks I have to use in order to create this "jeans like" style?

Awesome, I'm glad someone remembered that. I actually just tried looking on my computer for the preview image I had made back then and managed to find it. So I reuploaded it and edited the post in the thread that sean.fletcher posted. Hope the visual aid helps out a bit.
