How to create a drop box?

Could someone tell me how to create a drop box and how to use? new to Mac OSX

What are you talking about? Please elaborate as I'm pretty confused with what you want here :confused:

I don't use macs regularly at all but from my short experience with them I think he means for a network, like a share folder; or a drop box for burning, or something along those lines.

What I want to know is how to get my dropbox able to access by other people? execute action like read and write

Right click Dropbox folder and click Get Info. Now look at the bottom of Info window, expand "Ownership & Permissions" section and for Group choose "Read & Write". It should work now.

If you want to share files on network you also should have Personal File Sharing enabled in Sharing preference pane, but I assume you already know that. Good luck and post further questions if you have any problems

Make a new folder, get info, Owner can read and write, but set others to Write Onlu (dropbox).
