don't worry shady, mine's comparable, although its supposed to be 1Mbps down.

#400091

3Mb DSL from Earthlink (Covad)

Downstream: 2.05Mb (DSL router says 3008 Kbps)

Upstream: 302Kbps

I got this through a Netgear Wireless Router (WGRT614 v6), incoming into a built-in wireless (Intel 2200bg) on a Qosmio g15R-AV501.

I guess I could be losing the 1Mb via wireless, right?

Well, yeah sort of. Let's just say Netopia DSL Modems and hot summers in St. Louis don't make for great DSL service. Can you say dropped connections? :slant:
