How do you get the items to disappear from the taskbar when they're minimized?

Earlier today when i used Rklauncher and minimised windows to the dock, they would dissappear from the taskbar. I really liked it when it did this. But now when I minimize them to the dock, they move to the dock, but also stay in the taskbar. How can I get it so that it's the first option all the time where it disappears from the taskbar when minimized?

it's not 100% acurate get finderbar and set the file finderbarengine to run at startup or use rosie they are non intensive free apps then there is an intensvie payare app called objectbar
