I noticed, in our threads there's now a small line of ads under teh first post... (seems to be ads for forums skins)
I was just wondering if it was because A-S isn't getting enough to pay for the hosting or something... or if Timmeh just wants more money....

The ads look ugly on Aqua-Soft... they just dont fit in. It's like if OS X startign using the startbar... it would look so out of place.
I know they are there for a reason. Maybe Timmeh should start a donatiosn thread, and if you get enough donations the ads could be removed... or removed just for donators...

Eventually, everyone chooses for money.. And I can't believe there are so much expenses that you turn your board into a billboard for it. It really screws your nice layout. Poor.

You people are just spoiled ... i'd love to see Tim actually post the bill he pays for hosting, vB and not to mention all the work he puts into this place but i know it's not going to happen.
And when you say "more money", did you have to pay anything related to AS so far? If you don't like them, ignore them.
And just a small reminder, we DID have a donate thread ages ago and only 3-4 people donated. The rest of gajillion posts in there were people with "i'm too young, parents won't let me/i'm a student/i'm poor" excuses.

Not asking for donations, the ad even mentioned here is so tiny its so stupid to even discuss it. Guess I should just keep putting more ads on here and scare off the children.
Just an update, I've removed ads for Registered users again. Might be removing the single google ad from guests when we jump to 3.6. Not sure, its just not worth keeping them up, everyone seems to block em.
