Aqua-Soft ForumsI can't install the latest multi plugin with itunes 6.0.4. Im using Vista Beta 2, and the installer just quits saying that itunes is not installed. I tried reinstalling itunes, and that doesn't work.

i have the new itunes version and it works fine for me. download the latest multi-plugin by localhost and it should install.
nope, using vista beta 2, latest itunes, lates multi plugin, and it doesn't work.
Well, the Vista Beta 2 probably doesn't help. I haven't tested iTunes + Vista, but there's really no guarantee

[Edit: As an educated guess, I believe the Mplugin installer looks for this folder to check that iTunes is installed: C:Documents and Settingsigul222Application DataApple ComputeriTunes. Note, however, that in Vista, this would probably be C:Usersigul222Application DataApple ComputeriTunes. Try dropping this file into your iTunes Application folder, though you'll need a Skins folder and everything too.

My iTunes Application folder? YOu mean C:Program FilesiTunes? Or do you mean in my Documents and Settings/Users folder?

apart from slowing down my ituns, adding that to my folder does nothing. I'm gonna get a fresh copy of XP now, and see if I can sort this out.
I have a similar issue myself only I'm not using Vista but XP. I was using iTunes 6.0.4 and Multi-Plugin 2.3.2.
When iTunes 6.0.5 came out I thought I'd better uninstall the current version of iTunes and install 6.0.5. Well, no matter how many times I tried to uninstall it, iTunes remains in Program Files. (What's the point of having an uninstaller anyway if it did't uninstall anything?!)
So I deleted iTunes and iPod folders, cleaned the registers, then installed the new iTunes, after a lot of annoying errors.
Now iTunes is working, but every time I try to install Multi-Plugin, the installer cannot find iTunes...
Multi-Plugin 2.3.2 work with iTunes 6/05 ?
