samsrv.dll

My computer is broken! First I kept betting BSODs (Unmountable Hard Drive), but now, I suppose it's gotten "better." I can start up Windows (and Windows w/ Safe Mode) but before the Logon dialog appears, it says samsrv.dll is corrupted, or something.

Anyone got a copy? Unmodified, Windows XP Pro, and preferably SP1, but we'll see if the SP2 version is bootable.

Thanks a lot guys :),

P.S: I tried using my Windows XP Pro Reformat CD to expand the copy that was on the CD, but it didn't work for some reason :slant:.

Google is your friend: http://www.dlldump.com/download-dll-files_...0/download.html

It is completely safe, that's the website where I go when I am missing DLLs or I have corrupted ones.

Edit: Laertis beat me to it.

lol both gave the 1st result in google .

@ NC do that fresh and clean format or you'll never get peace of mind .

Thanks guys, wasn't sure whether or not it was trustworthy. Too late, sadly. The DLL transfer didn't work. If any of you are interested in my panicked exploits that ultimately ended in three different reformats and involved two--wait, three--failed Linux Live CDs (and more), just post back...otherwise, I'm not going to bother explicating :P.
