Problem with systats widgets

hi,

i installed systats 2.5.11 as mentioned in the forum. i renamed the zip file to aveinst extension and double clicked the file and it installed correctly . a big blue question mark icon appeared on my desktop. i wanted to install CPU meter, so i right clicked on the icon and selected the load option and selected the config file of the cpu meter and then even the question mark icon disappears and nothing displayed on my desktop. so pl anyone guide me how to install my cpumeter and similar systats.

Have you tried loading the cpu meter directly from within Avedesk widgets list?

i tried but in vain. the item does not appear in the add item list. plz help me

Problem is, the steps you followed, you loaded a config file for the cpu meter, for something that isn't even a widget (in this case the question-mark). So in effect, loading ANY config file for that won't do anything. Try Re-installing the CPU meter (via .aveinst or by extracting the contents of a zip-file for any other widget directly into their correct Systats folders like CONFIGS, SCRIPTS, PLUGINS or such) and see if it appears in the Add items list for Systats. The safest way to load any config for systats is from this list. Hope this helps
