you know when you uncheck the option to "keep the taskbar on top of other windows," the windows can maximize all the way to the bottom of the screen? ok well is there a way to make the windows maximize like that but still keep my taskbar on top? i'm using a clear taskbar (by way of TaskbarTransparent) so i'd be able to see the stuff under it.
taskbar always on top...
eh, i don't think you can. it's one or the other. well, actually, what you can do is trick your system. do NOT maximize the window. have it medium sized. then resize it manually and you should be able to have the titlebar under the taskbar and the bottom of the window all the way to the bottom. same deal if your taskbar is at the bottom.
I use a great program called xBar to define the desktop area. If you set it to cover your entire desktop, say 102x768, then maximised windows will happily sit behind the taskbar.
You can set a shortcut to the program as it runs and exits. Only negative is that if you change the resolution of the desktop (maybe you want to play a game) the desktop size resets itself. Although, a simple double click of the shortcut resizes the desktop.
Homepage seems to be changed so I've hosted it for you:
thanks a bunch! this worked perfectly
