I just downloaded Clotz's filetype icons and I want to use them to replace my current file type icons (mp3, doc ect.) How do I do this? Do you use reshacker and edit each program to use these icons instead of the default? If so, how?

P.S. the icon set came in .PNG format, whats the easiest and fastest way to convert them to .ICO format for use with the file types (or can I use the .PNGs?)
The easiest way to change them is via Folder Options/File Types.
However, you will need them in .ico format.
These can be optained at the AquaXP Download Page.
Another easy way to change your icons is with Microangelo:
just right click an icon, choose Appearance, select icon and you're done! Much faster than going through folder options - file types, but not free (well, you can use it for a month, i think)
Oh, about icons and PNGs...
No, you can't use PNGs for filetypes icons, but you can convert them to ICO easily.
Axialis IconWorkshop is a very good program (not free, though), as it can import a PNG and instantly create an icon file with multiple sizes. Icon Sushi is a great program too and it's also free.
