Objectbar and FlyakiteOSX problems

Hello,

I have just installed my FlyokiteOSX and I'm totally amazed. Looks beutifull. So please keep in mind that I'm a ****ie in this area.

I have just two things that I can't get right:

- The Objectbar. It doesn't display the minimized windows.... I suppose it's ment to be so? However I'm a bit addicted to this, and I'd also like to have the Finder etc. I saw some screenshots with this on this forum. Could someone point me where I can find that skin?

- Audio. Right after isntalling the FlyokiteOSX, something seemed to be wrong with my Audio controller. This is what I get when trying to play a song in WinAmp:

Could someone help me with my problems?

Thanks a lot in advance,

Kuba.

I don't really think there's a Finder skin for Windows Explorer if that's what you want. However, there's a couple Finder clones out there. Go to the Community Applications part of this forum.

There's a list here too: http://www.osx-e.com/downloads/finder/

If you're using replaceable menus (depends on the theme), minimized windows are listed in Objectbar on the 'Window' menu, if not, you might want to try adding a taskbar item in OB to check if it's OB screwing up or its just that you can't find them.

I'm not sure about the sound problem but when I had similar problems, I went to dxdiag and turned down the sound accelleration one notch and it worked! (to get to dxdiag, go to the Run dialog, either by start>run, or ctrl+alt+delete then File> Run)

Yes, I know they are listed in the "Window" menu. However I'd like to have it the windows way, and still keep the Finder etc.

Which theme can do this? Here are the screenshots I'm refering to:

I hope someone can help me find a way to do that.

I'm afriad my Sound Accelleration is already turned off :(

I'll try re-installing the drivers I think.

Thanks a lot for your help,

Kuba.

EDIT

------------

Hi, I just wanted to add that I managed to fix my sound problem by re-installing the drivers. I don't know why this was needed, but it solved the problem.

Does nobody know which ObjectBar theme is being used on the screenshots I posed in my last post?

Thanks,

Kuba.

Doesn't look like Objectbar. I think this is Landvermesser's Finderbar-Addon.

Actually, somebody did make a "skin" for Windows Explorer. It was really a tutorial on how to change it to be like the OS X finder, and it had a skin to use with WindowBlinds.

-

kuba.g - To get the minimized windows listed ON the menu, just edit the OB theme. (I dont have it installed right now so I'm tellign you from memory)

Once your in the editor thingy just find where teh last menu is (being the help menu) and create a... thing (sorry I dont know what they call them) after it. When you get to select what it is/what it does, find taskbar.

that should work.

Sorry, I dont know what theme that is.
