Aqua-Soft Forumsanyone familiar with this site? looks nice, and i'd like to set up my gmail and stuff, but, are they reputable? can i put in my gmail id and pw without fear? and i'm not talking about general internet security. i mean these guys specifically.

I've been using netvibes for a few months now and i've yet to find any problems.
I'm a Netvibes user aswell, mostly for feeds and podcast. Been using it for a while, after trying start.com (too simple) and live.com (too microsoft). Seems a well-respected website, lively and developing (been writing a couple of modules myself).
I haven't trusted them my gmail id/pass, yet. A bit is actually "mistrust", but I usually run a notifier so I'm not that interested 
I've been using the customized Google page for a while. It works fine for me besides being a little slow to load at times.
yeah, i been using google/ig as my homepage for a while, with start.com as a secondary (i like the boing boing and engadget feeds). but netvibes looks like they have a boatload more content than google or ms. and i like being able to check gmail and sbcglobal mail from one page. i may have to make that leap of faith...
if you want to try these services, remember most of them can export and import OPML files to make your life easier 
Mmmh what I miss in google/ig (and from live.com aswell) is the full-width rss reader that start.com and netvibes have. The latter also keeps track of read/unread items. I just stopped visiting advertisement-ridden websites like engadget.com, the rss is enough for me 
I've been using Netvibes for a while now, they seem reputable. Haven't had any problems nor have I heard any complaints from others. (And I have my Gmail and del.icio.us account on my netvibes page.)
Actually, thanks for the tip! There are certain attractive features for the Google Homepage, but I've decided to give this a try! It's pretty nice too, plus a bit more customizable.
