Fast Integer Vs. Floating Point

OK, in the GIMP, in the save dialog, they say: DCT Method (speed/quality tradeoff): Integer, Fast Integer, and Floating Point.

Unfortunatly, they do not say which is speed and which is quality. So for all the photoshopers out there, which is which? Im thinking Fast Integer is speed (because of the 'fast' part).

So?

:shy:

PS. Im starting to realize how good the GIMP actually is. Ive been reading a lot of Photoshop tutorials that say "you need the full version of Photoshop for this" and all the things that it needs are in the gimp (development builds at least).

(did this ever get working:  )
