RK Launcher won't move...

When I booted my PC today, the RK Launcher decided to dock itself in the top left corner. I did the most obvious thing and changed the setting to go back to the bottom like I originally had it. It didn't move and the setting didn't change. After doing this a few times, rebooting a few times and exiting the program and restarting it a few times, I went ahead and reinstalled it. Nothing has changed accept my blood pressure.

Any thoughts or suggestions? I'm all ears.

Thanks,

Jim

And you played around in the .conf file too, right?

I am assuming you are referring to the "RKLauncher.conf" file. If that is the case, the file is empty.

Well, that's certainly a problem. Mine has something like this (try copying and pasting it into yours):

[Settings]

[Appearance]

magnifySize = 96
smallSize = 48
itemDistance = 0
magnification = 1
backgroundAlpha = 128
itemsMagnify = 7
position = 4
theme = Sofa
hideIndicators = 0
hidePoofs = 0

[Behavior]

alwaysOnTop = 1
locked = 0
automaticHide = 0
autoHideDelay = 260
saveOnExit = 1
saveOnChange = 1
saveItems = 1
itemAnimation = 1
itemAnimationCount = 5
itemAnimationNew = 1
minimizeToDock = 0
useMinMaxEffect = 0
minMaxEffect = RKScaleEffect/RKScaleEffect.dll
minimizePosition = -1
newApplications = 0
newIconsPosition = -4
hideTaskbar = 0
useMarginHotspot = 1
hotspotDelay = 250
hotspotFullMargin = 1
neverTakeFocus = 0
startWithWindows = 0
swwRegistry = 1
swwUser = 0

[Label]

font = Tahoma
fontSize = 12
bold = 1
italic = 0
colorLabel = 16777215
colorEdge = 0
colorShadow = 0
alphaLabel = 255
alphaEdge = 225
alphaShadow = 205
hideLabel = 0
fadeLabel = 0

[Performance]

quality = Normal
magnifyTransitionIn = 8
magnifyTransitionOut = 6

position=4 will place you at the bottom. That's the relevant part.

is there any way to move the dock around the screen other than in the default positions?
