I am cuttently designing a Mac OS X panther boot screeen in Adpbe Photoshop... Kinda looks like the Jaqaur one accept for some small details...
Coming soon...
I think it's ready...
Warning: This was made with BootXP... I think this will work on both versions of Windows XP, By both versions I mean... No service pack installed and machnes with SP1 installed... But then again I'M NOT SURE!
It did work on my Windows XP installation and I do have SP1 installed...
I would create a backup line to be safe... This is my boot.ini file
[boot loader]
timeout=30
default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS
[operating systems]
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition" /fastdetect /KERNEL=LOGOOS.EXE
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="(Backup Line) Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition" /fastdetect
To install: At the end of your OS line (ie: multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition" /fastdetect /KERNEL=LOGOOS.EXE) Add "/KERNEL=" and the name of the boot screen EXE file... Do nopt add the kernel opion with the quotation marks
404-file not found.... care to put it up again?
Hi,
Yeap...link is down.
That boot screen is 16 colors ? because if it isnt the look doesnt going to be that one ![]()
Cya.
you should try and make the real mac boot screen, those are the loading screens, the real mac boot screen is just the apple and a background, 2 colours. No one has made it, but thats the real background
Although ,not accurate ihartmac it is A great bootscreen , Im using it right now !THANKS!
Hey, Thanx, At leist someone appreciates it!
Hey sorry, I thought people should know.
Back in Feb, twelve guys were working on finding out the exact bootscreen, it took us 4 pages of thread before judge finished it.
Yours is good though, don't get me wrong,... It's just that your thread says original panther bootscreen,.. which the image you show isn't.
